False Vervain or Wild Hyssop. This plant grows up to 5' in height with leaves that are ponted and coarsely toothed and up to 7" in length, and 2" in width. The flowers are in loose clusters at the top of the plant and are blue, pink, or purple in color, and measure less that 1/3" in diameter. The plant grows in open wet areas, wet prairies, low pastures, shores, marshes, and stream banks. June-September.
