Bloom Time: July-September. Blue flower. Wet to medium soil moisture. Tall spikes of purple-blue flowers support many native bees, butterflies, and moths. This plant grows up 5’ in height with leaves that are pointed and coarsely toothed and up to 7” in length and 2” wide. The flowers are in loose clusters at the top of the plant and are blue in color. The plant grows in open wet areas, wet prairies, low pastures, shores, marshes, and stream banks. These are sold as 3” 32 cell plugs. Deer resistant. Available until October 1st.
