Bloom Time: June-August. Planting: Plant rhizomes in muddy shallows. Found in the wettest of soils, it's a great aquatic/emergent plant to place in or near stream banks, lake shores, pond edges, etc. The flowers will attract native pollinators, the seeds are an important food source for waterfowl. This plant is a food source for puddle ducks and muskrats, with long sword-like leaves and large flower/seed heads (1-2”). The flowers are yellowish-white. It grows to a mature height of 5-7’ and is suited to partial shade. Available from March 15th - May 31st (Rhizome only). June 1st - October 1st (Full plant, see other listing)
