Bloom Time: June-August. Planting: Plant rhizomes in shoreline mud or shallow water up to 18 inches deep. Wet soil to shallow standing water. This plant is good for habitat reconstruction and erosion control along areas with occasional flooding. It is a good wetland food source. The stems are tubular and leafless. Height at maturity is 10’ and in partial shade. These are available in 2” 50 cell or 3” plugs. Available April 15th until October 1st.
